Life's a Roller Coaster

It really is. There's always so much drama going on. If anything, this blog will be a way for me to talk about my current stressers, even if no one pays any attention.

Today's topic: Deadlines.

So I run a site... and I've been working on it for some time. But unfortunately, I've been so busy that I've been unable to complete my string of updates. So, I've once again had to push back my opening date. For the third time. So, I'm afraid I'll be spending much of my week finishing up the updates my site as so desperately needed, even if I can't finish a banner in time for the opening.

And then there's my spriting deadlines. Well, they're not exactly deadlines, it's just that people are depending on me to finish them so the project can finally get the completion stamp. Maybe I'm biting off more than I can chew? I hope not. Keeping myself busy is the only way to keep my mind off the more serious plagues of my life.

What serious issue could I have? Well, it's not mine, but a close friend's. She's been dating this guy for, oh, two years? Well, he's suddenly become absorbed in an online game, not paying attention to her or her needs. Granted it's online dating, but one cannot get by on sporadic conversations alone. So, she finally split up with him today. And you know, a part of me is glad that they did. Now, this may sound terrible to some of you, but having watched their relationship...I can feel safe in saying that he wasn't the guy for her. Do I care if she reads this? Maybe. But it's something she needs to hear, no matter how much it hurts. Some guys are better for some girls, and some aren't. That's the way of the world.

So, my friend, go and find some new fish! There's plenty of them, and you'll find the one that's meant for you. and if one breaks your heart, I'll still be here for you, as I have been from the time our friendship began.

Ciao 'til later
